Award for Entrepreneur of the Year at the British Bangladeshi Business Awards 2017

Shermeena Rabbi was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year for 2017 at the second British Bangladeshi Business Awards, attended by politicians and business people from across the UK.

Shermeena was delighted to receive the award and acknowledged this to be a recognition of the hard work of everyone at Unlocking Language over the last year.

Shermeena Rabbi is the founder, CEO and Clinical Director of Unlocking Language. She is a Speech and Language Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC SL12388) and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT RC0019629). Since founding Unlocking Language in 2013, she has built a team of around 50 therapists supporting children, families, schools and local authorities across London. Her work has featured on BBC, Channel 5 and Al Jazeera, and she was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2017 British Bangladeshi Business Awards.
