Following on from last year’s success, we will once again be running our Summer Speech and Language Therapy Groups for children and teenagers.

These are the groups we will be running:
Social Skills – Ages 7 to 10 years
1st August to 12th August 2016 – 9.30 to 11am
Price: £25 per session
This group will be based on Alex Kelly’s Talkabout approach that targets social skills, self esteem, and relationships. This will be combined with Lego Therapy, which is a construction based interactive play approach, targeting social skills.
Social Skills – Ages 11 to 15 years
1st August to 12th August 2016 – 11.30 to 1pm
Price: £25 per session

Stammering for Teenagers – Ages 13 to 16 years
1st August to 5th August 2016 – 2 to 4pm or 22nd August to 26th August – 2 to 4pm
Price: £25 per session
This group will use various approaches to target fluency of speech, and strategies to help manage stammering.
Correcting a Lisp – Ages 5 to 11 years
26th July 2016 – 10 to 12pm / 2nd August 2016 – 10 to 12pm / 23rd August 2016 – 10 to 12pm
Price: £25 per session
These sessions will teach the child to produce the “s” and “z” sounds correctly.
ASD Therapy Group – Ages 2.5 to 5 years
25th July to 29th July 2016 – 9.30 to 11am
Price: £25 per session
This group is for young children with a diagnosis of autism. Early communication and sensory skills will be targeted. Therapy will focus on developing attention, eye contact, play and understanding and using language.
